How We Collect Information

SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research understands that you care about how information about you is used. This privacy policy explains how we collect information pertaining to businesses and business people (“Business Information”) and our online surveying; how we maintain, use and share that information; and how you can manage the way information about you is handled.

SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research represents and warrants that: (i) SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research will comply with all applicable data protection laws, including all CANSPAM, CA anti-SPAM, and GDPR laws and (ii) SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research has fairly and lawfully collect all data and information from public sources or has purchased data from 3rd party vendors that comply with all privacy laws.

SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research collects Business Information that is limited to the kind of information that can be found on a typical business card: first name, last name, job title, employer/company name, work address, work email, and work phone number as well as answers to survey questions.

Any and all information, data, or materials provided by our clients to SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research in any form or matter will be designated Confidential Information and SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research agrees to use Confidential Information only as instructed by our client’s and solely for that client’s benefit.

SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research agrees that any data or information provided by our Clients under any Statement of Work will not be integrated or loaded into SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research’s master database and will only be uploaded into the suppression file portion of SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research’s application, which is separate from SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research’s master database.

Upon completion of the Services or Deliverable under a SOW, SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research will upon request delete and destroy the information and data provided by a Client and if requested by Client provide written confirmation of deletion or destruction.

Responder data is only shared with the individual who sponsored the project. Any individual may opt out of receiving future emails from SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research by clicking on the opt-out link in the invite.

If you are a California resident, California law permits you to request certain information regarding the disclosure of your personal information by us to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send your request, by mail or email, to the address at the end of this policy.

SimplyDIRECT/Gatepoint Research reserves the right to modify this privacy policy from time to time, so please review it regularly. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, and/or by means of a notice on our homepage prior to the changes becoming effective.
